Jackson’s class invited all of the moms to their class for a Mother’s Day Tea on Friday. We were each escorted down a red carpet by our son or daughter to a round of applause. Jackson gave me a handmade paper corsage and pulled his chair out for me too. Jackson made a book about what he loves about his mom. Each child also contributed to a Cookbook filled with recipes dictated by the children. Needless to say that was pretty amusing. The kids performed songs dedicated especially to their moms. It was very sweet and moving. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room, except for the kids of course, after Mrs. Shearin read “Love You Forever.” Even the principal, Mr. Carter was teary eyed.
