Back to Baseball!

Man, it was a long two days without watching the Red Sox play. But apparently it was just enough time to rest up and come back in full force! Poor Rockies fans had to go 8 days without seeing their team. And after that long break, they had to watch them get crushed by the Sox.

Some records were broken (tied) last night

Red Sox are the first team in post season history to score more than 10 runs in 3 consecutive post season games.

Pedroia became the second player in World Series history to lead off the first inning of Game 1 with a homer, joining Don Buford (1969 Orioles).

The Red Sox hit 9 doubles which beat the record of 8 set in 1925 by the Pirates.

Beckett is the third pitcher in Fall Classic history to strike out the first four batters in a row.

Basically it was a great start to the World Series!

Go Boston!
