What do you say…

…when your team has lost three in a row after such a great start?

So, the Red Sox have one more shot against the Indians. If they blow this one, then it’s over for this season. Come on, we came back from three games down before! Remember the 2004 season!?

Here’s hoping that Beckett comes through for us and our bats are blessed with long, hard hits.

 Go Bosox!!

God doesn’t like the Yankees

God unleashed a plague upon the Yankees last night in Cleveland. During the eighth inning, swarms of gnats covered the Yankees players. The Indians…not so much.

Indians tied it up during the fortunate and well-timed natural warfare. Took the win in the 11th!

Red Sox won with the help of a fan (Red Sox fans ROCK) and a walk off homer by Manny Ramirez!

Let’s review:

Indians 2 Yankees 1

Red Sox 6 Angels 3

Go Bosox!! (and for now, Go Indians!)

So much for experience

Here are some interesting stats going into last night’s game between the Cleveland Indians and the New York Yankees:

The Yankees’ roster featured 19 players with a total of 606 postseason games. Joe Torre had managed 120 postseason games.

Meanwhile, eight of the nine hitters in the Indians’ starting lineup had never been in a playoff game.

What can we learn from this?

Experience, at least as far as the 2007 Yankees are concerned, means precisely zilch, zero, nada…thanks for playing.

And so many thought it would be the Red Sox that would choke.

Let’s review:

Indians 12 Yankees 3

Red Sox 4 Angels 0
